Drainage Repair and Lining
Eleusis Structural Engineering is a leader in efficient drainage repair and lining. We use advanced CCTV technology for swift and accurate drain and sewer assessments. If your drainage assets are facing issues with cracking or deterioration of defects drains, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) relining by Eleusis offers a highly effective solution to prevent severe drainage problems. Cracked or damaged pipes can lead to serious concerns like sewer flooding, leaks, blockages, unpleasant odorous, and water egress, which may contribute to subsidence, necessitating prompt repair of drains and sewers.
CIPP relining presents an excellent alternative to the disruptive and costly process of excavating and replacing extensive pipe sections. We primarily opt for this technique as it’s both cost-effective and minimally disruptive. Known as ‘no-dig technology’, CIPP relining allows us to make durable repairs to sewer pipes and drains without excavation. The process involves inserting a resin-impregnated liner into the pipe, which is then expanded to bond with the pipe interior, creating a new pipe within the old one, thus restoring its integrity.
Furthermore, we can rehabilitate pipes ranging from 100mm to 1,800mm in diameter using this method, with the option of CIPP patch lining for localised repairs. This approach ensures long-lasting, effective solutions with minimal disturbance, using the most suitable method for each specific case.
